Understanding Speech & Swallowing Therapy
Head and neck cancers include cancers originating from the throat, oral and nasal cavities. Treatment of these cancers may include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy or a combination of different modalities. As a result, the treatment processes may cause changes to the patient’s voice, speech and swallowing abilities.
Understanding Speech & Swallowing Therapy video will share issues that are related to speech and swallowing functions and how you and your Speech Therapist can better manage them.
