It’s no secret that having an active lifestyle helps to prevent the onset and recurrence of
many chronic diseases while at the same time help to improve mental and emotional wellbeing.
Despite this, the choice to exercise can sometimes be daunting. Where do I start?
Should I focus more on my cardiovascular fitness or jump straight into strength training?
How should I exercise such that it is not too much for my body to handle? Can I exercise in a
manner that will reduce the risk of injury?
In this talk, we aim to equip you with a basic understanding of exercise and how to do it
right, while at the same time dispel some of the common exercise myths that you might
