Synopsis
Mindfulness Medley Practice is a medley of three mindfulness practices ie. Meditation/Breathing, Chair Yoga, and Singing Bowl Therapy.

Meditation/Breathing uses the power of breath to calm the mind and body, reduce stress and anxiety, and enhance overall well-being. By aligning ourselves with our breath, we can tap into its inherent potential for healing and rejuvenation. This segment can also improve sleep quality and mindfulness.

Chair Yoga is perfect for those among us who find mat yoga challenging. With the support of a chair, we will move through gentle stretches that release tension in the neck, shoulders, back, and hips, helping to improve posture, circulation, and flexibility.

Tibetan Singing Bowl Therapy is a traditional and holistic method of stress reduction and healing. An introductory session is included to experience for ourselves the peaceful resonating sounds that help balance chakras and promote deep relaxation.

Note: Please bring your own yoga mat and dress comfortably in clothing that allows freedom of movement.

Instructor Bio

Meet Suzu, a yoga alliance certified instructor, originally from Japan who has been living in Singapore for over a decade. She is also a cancer survivor who turned to yoga during her recovery. After experiencing complications that resulted in a loss of strength in her right leg, she began practising basic yoga to heal more quickly. Through her practice, she not only regained strength in her leg but also found tremendous calmness and positivity in her mind.

Suzu would like to share from her own experience that yoga is about reaching different versions of oneself and connecting with one's body and mind. It promotes overall health and helps individuals understand the needs of their bodies on a daily basis. Her yoga journey also led her to explore the healing aspect of yoga, and she became certified as a singing bowl therapist. Today, she incorporates her expertise in singing bowl therapy into her yoga sessions, providing her students with a holistic and healing experience.
