Edna's first encounter with the Gyrotonic movement method was in 2008. After experiencing tightness and mobility issues post-surgery, her ballet teacher recommended she try the Gyrotonic method, and she has been hooked on it since.
In 2019, Edna crossed path with Samantha Lun after the latter returned from her overseas study (both went to the same commercial dance studio) and was very excited to further her Gyrotonic practice under Samantha. In 2021, Edna left the corporate world and took a leap of faith to pursue her passion in movement practice under the mentorship of Samantha Lun and Rita Renha.
Edna is also an avid Qigong practitioner and dances classical ballet weekly. She enjoys helping people from all walks of life and strongly believes that the Gyrotonic movement method is particularly effective in the area of rehabilitation, spinal health, and overall improvement of strength and mobility. Having experienced the first-hand benefits of this system, Edna is keen to share this method with everyone so that they can be equipped with skills to move with strength, control and fluidity.
