Vision

A CanFRiEND for every cancer patient.

Mission

To support our cancer patients and their care-givers through meaningful volunteerism. A CanFRiEND can engage the patients and assist CanHOPE in activities such as:

  • Support group meetings
  • Outreach and public education
  • Counselling, providing emotional and psychological support

CanFRiENDS volunteers are:

  • Mature, energetic, creative and vibrant
  • Sensitive to patients
  • Patient and willing to lend a listening ear
  • Passionate about helping patients
